Get a taste of the sports industry and build the skills to succeed through the dual Diploma of Leadership and Management / Diploma of Sport, delivered in partnership with TAFE Queensland.

Commencing in January 2027, this immersive face-to-face program is delivered over 40 weeks and offers unique work-integrated learning opportunities with the Gold Coast Titans. The course is designed for school-leavers and early-career professionals who are looking to develop their sports coaching, administration and leadership skills while gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

Course snapshot

Graduate with a dual Diploma of Leadership and Management / Diploma of Sport (BSB50420/SIS50321) in under 12 months with the Titans Institute. Our partnership with TAFE Queensland means your qualification is nationally recognised.

The 40-week course consists of:

26 x core and elective units
2 days per week of face-to-face learning, plus 1 day per week of online support
Opportunity to complete 100 hours of work experience with the Gold Coast Titans

You'll learn how to:

Plan and deliver coaching programs for high-performing athletes	Apply sport psychology principles and coordinate health and wellness programs
Develop the mindset of an effective leader, using emotional intelligence to motivate and influence others	Create a positive team culture that encourages accountability, resilience and success
